Meeting spaces for IET members

IET members can book from two dedicated rooms or four booths at the Faraday Centre, free of charge. Please read the terms and conditions before you make a booking.

As member and staff safety is of the upmost importance to us, we are temporally no longer taking bookings for the Booths, Ayrton and Hopper Rooms in the Faraday Centre.

 

Hopper Meeting Room

This small room can cater for between two and five people, ideal for meetings and interviews. The room features a 32” HD screen, a whiteboard and a flipchart.

In order to improve our member’s experience, the room offers a conference phone and in-built desktop PC with USB camera and microphone to facilitate web-based videoconferencing meetings.

The Hopper Room can be used for up to two hours per day and is limited to two bookings per week. They are free of charge.

Ayrton Brainstorming Room

The brainstorming room can accommodate between two and six people and is equipped with a 65” touchscreen/PC, a whiteboard and a flipchart.

In order to improve our member’s experience, the room offers a conference phone, and in-built desktop PC with USB camera and microphone to facilitate web-based videoconference meetings.

The Ayrton Brainstorming room can be used for up to two hours per day and are limited to two bookings per week. They are free of charge.

Meeting booths

The booths offer a semi-private meeting space for two to six people, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Faraday Centre.

Each booth offers a 32” HD screen and two booths can be booked via the booking system.
