IET Birmingham: Austin Court is a purpose-built meeting venue, providing 14 spaces to host a huge range of events, from one-on-one interviews and full-day training sessions to award ceremonies and film screenings.

Boulton Room

A truly inspiring space to host any meeting in. The Boulton Room offers you a high level of flexibility with ample space for up to 14 guests.

The room enjoys plenty of natural light thanks to its large windows and double doors welcome fresh air, opening directly onto our landscaped courtyard garden.

It offers all the contemporary AV solutions you’d expect from a modern meeting space, but with added charm from its stunning period features.

It can also be transformed into a larger meeting room if required by hiring the Boulton Room in conjunction with its neighbour, the Faraday Room.

Faraday Room

Similar to the adjoining Boulton Room, the Faraday Room offers you a creative and versatile meeting space in Birmingham able to host up to 30 delegates.

Ideal for keeping energy up during events, large windows provide lots of natural daylight along with stunning views over our landscaped courtyard garden.

The space offers all the AV facilities required for professional delivery of a successful meeting and also lends itself well to other events including exhibitions and training sessions.

Brindley Room

For interviews and small team meetings, the Brindley Room – capacity up to 6 guests – offers the perfect setting.

The charming space is kitted out with all the latest AV facilities including a wall-mounted LCD TV, great for presenting.

The large windows help create a relaxing environment, helping your attendees perform their best.

Stephenson Room

The arched windows and sloped, beamed ceiling of the Stephenson Room give the space a unique feel and create a friendly environment for up to 6 guests.

The intimate room is great for any small meeting or interview and has Wi-Fi and a built-in LCD TV so you can get connected with the rest of the world and have great facilities to help you present.

Telford Room

Traditional interiors and modern facilities make the Telford Room the perfect choice for any meeting, training or an event for up to 60 guests.

The blend of old and new epitomises what makes this space and in fact the whole of IET Birmingham: Austin Court, so special.

The large windows fill the room with natural daylight and show off the fabulous views over the landscaped Courtyard.

The Lodge Rooms

The Lodge Rooms 1, 2 and 3 are our most versatile meeting rooms and can be used in a variety of different combinations. They work particularly well for all-day events needing a flexible space because they can be easily transformed as required into various layouts including boardroom, u-shape, cabaret and theatre.

With ample room to host up to 120 delegates, they work equally well for events like training sessions and one-off meetings. 

 

The versatile Lodge Rooms can be used in the following configurations:

  • Lodge Room 1 (up to 40 guests)
  • Lodge Room 2 (up to 20 guests)
  • Lodge Room 3 (up to 30 guests)
  • Lodge Rooms 1 and 2 (up to 80 guests)
  • Lodge Rooms 1, 2 and 3 (up to 120 guests).

Randall Room

If you’re holding a meeting for up to 10 guests and want a beautiful space with state-of-the-art AV facilities, then the Randall Room could be the right choice for you.

It has fabulous views over the water, areas that can be used for refreshments and flipcharts and a wall-mounted LCD TV for presentations and video conferencing.

It works well for interviews, small meetings and training sessions.

The Randall Room is tucked away in the venue so you can be guaranteed a quiet place to hold your meeting.

Boot Room

Panel interviews require an appropriate space that provides a professional environment with a creative vibe.

The intimate Boot Room can accommodate up to 8 guests and is the perfect room for a range of small meetings.

With cutting edge AV facilities including an LCD TV and Wi-Fi, you and your guests will be able to concentrate on the agenda with no fear of technical glitches.

Crompton Room

The Crompton Room can host up to 40 guests and works really well when set up in a boardroom style.

The large windows and high ceiling give the room a real sense of space and the beautiful beams add character.

Waterside Room

One of our larger spaces, the Waterside Room boasts solid oak floors, exposed ceiling beams and raw, red brick walls.

Able to host meetings for up to 150 guests, the high level of professional facilities also makes this room suitable for a variety of other events including presentations, exhibitions, training days and conferences.

Further features include large double doors opening out over the canal and plenty of natural daylight let in from the room’s feature windows, making it a truly special event space in Birmingham.
